skd186626sdcAt SR Books, we also created releases to promote our newly published titles – especially those that had trade book seller potential. Once the releases were distributed to the appropriate media points, we followed up to obtain the best possible coverage for our books.

The books with a more academic slant were distributed to leading professors and industry experts for review and quotes for the back covers of our books. As a true book lover, it was especially exciting to see the quotes I painstakingly gathered and edited on the back cover of a book.


I have also had some success writing freelance releases for local businesses and events. Again, it’s always fun to see your work really pay off with a full page article in the paper.
